Within two hours, the legitimate President of Ethiopia and his national army had quelled the rebellion backed by the neighbouring \u2018state of evil\u2019 and the failed coup state that had stirred up strife, declared a non-existent rebellion and launched a surprise attack in the centre of Khartoum, claiming they would put an end to the rebellionwithin hours or weeks. Now, in its fourth year, the rebellion is gaining ground and expanding; it shares in the oil revenue and takes its share \u2013 six million dollars a month \u2013 from them into the Rapid Support Forces\u2019 account, which has become a government called the \u2018Establishment of Peace\u2019 and the \u2018Establishment of Now\u2019 government, in the words of Manawi, an ally of the coup, claims that they control seventy-five per cent of the country. During the Ethiopian war against the rebels, we heard of no banks, courts or land registries being destroyed, no power cuts, no infrastructure being demolished, no people being displaced, no killings, and no arrests of their sons in the rebel areas; they killed them and labelled them \u2018supporters\u2019 of a country governed by an elected president and protected by a national army, where there are no foreign agents, no private militias, and no terrorist battalions. The rebellion ended without chemical weapons or prohibited arms, and life continued as normal, whilst the hopes ofthe fools, traitors and agents who wish for death, destruction and ruin to befall Abyssinia. The brutal scenario unfolding in our country has no parallel anywhere in the world\u2014not even in Buddhist Burma, nor in Rwanda with its Hutu and Tutsi. What is happening in Sudan is a criminal act of terrorism against the people and against the revolution. The people have risen up across every corner of Sudan and said \u2018no\u2019 to military rule and the Kizan; for the military and the Kizan are fighting against their own people to restore the corrupt and oppressive to power. There is no justification for the continuation of this war, nor is there any reason not to bring the war. The people are calling for an end to the war; the world around us, with its institutions and organisations, is calling for an end to the war\u2014except for the terrorists, the Kizan and the murderers, who are at work. O God, may all who say \u2018but\u2019 meet a wretched end, and cast them out of Your mercy, O Lord of the Worlds. O God, deal with the people of strife and the murderers, for they arebe a match for You. O God, protect us from them as You will. O God, count them and their militias one by one, and kill them off one by one; leave not a single one of them, O Lord of the Worlds. You are our sufficiency and the Best of Guardians; You are worthy of our supplication, and You are Kind and Wise towards Your servants. So judge between us and these unjust murderers with truth; for You are the Swiftest of Reckoners. My Lord, grant them no more respite than You have already granted them; hasten the deliverance of the country and its army from them. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Glory be to Sudan and its people; and shame and disgrace be upon the traitors, the agents, the murderers of souls and the spillers of blood.
